It been far to long.

I'm"I've been waiting anxiously to start this post. I didn't want to post anything until there was a few more changes. We've had a good couple of weeks of progress now, so I thought I'd do a little update."

That's what I started two weeks ago (correction, I wrote that first sentence over 2 months ago and the second one over 3 weeks ago now.yikes)...and I got cut off with an update about needing to do a quiz or something. I'm sorry it's been such a long time again. It doesn't feel like it has been over a month again. Things have been busy for us, but that's ok, we seem to like busy. We've still been working mainly on the edition of the house and getting that part fixed up while we wait for this cold weather to go away. And man do we want it to go away! We've blown through some propane tanks during these cold weekends to say the least. Chase has been putting in the hours Monday-Sunday. Since the last time I've updated we've had the electric updated thanks to a really good friend of ours, my Dad and Chase put up trim, Chase has wrapped some of the outside of the house, we've painted walls (the green feels intense, but I think once the cabinets are in and we stop using the bright yellow light things will change), ceilings, and trim, Paul and Chase laid tile (I think my new least favorite thing to do is clear out grout lines) Chase has started hanging wood siding in the utility room, Chase and Bryon have been working on pumping, Doodle has been working the the cellar, mudding all the walls and finished laying the walls down there, he's also been helping clean up the upstairs so its ready to be worked on soon and we've cleaned up the logs so they can be sprayed with borat, stain and be sealed before we start on the outside of the house again. Here before long we will have the appliances delivered and set the cabinets and get them ready to be cleaned and painted. Chase has certainly been leading the work at the house these days with my class load and work schedule. It blows my mind ever week when he puts in 30 hours at least over there on top of his normal work week. Lowes has officaly become our best friend. We have a long way to go, but it will get there. Thank you all for your continued support and kind words. Nothing feels better then having people we never had expected showing support to ask how things are going and that they can't wait to see it!

Hopefully by spring time we will have the edition a good ways done and ready to start on the main part of the house.
